IAFOR manages to do two seemingly contradictory things: bring together researchers and practitioners with a broad range of intellectual interests, while also building a community of enquiry that persists. Participants make professional connections that turn into new avenues for research, but they also make personal connections. I always look forward to seeing previous participants at future conferences and continuing our conversations.
